Clubs get creative at sports sign-up

Alec Mullins Lecture-room was a swirl of colors and sounds that Rhodes University Annual sports event registration began on Tuesday.
Students exitedly milled around between the stalls and members gathered around the sorority, reading brochures and forms for signature. There are over 20 sports clubs for students to judge by.
Most clubs have played a slideshow on the phones to make their sport and distributed leaflets to passersby, but some more original methods.
Two Club members pulled underwater on their wetsuits and flippers and goggles strapped on."This is not very acceptable to the port above the ground," representing entertainment Emily Mundy admitted as she walked around.
Boy Club Surf was walking in a black wetsuit with a surfboard under his arm. Both clubs appeared in the money at registration.
"Tonight we've been so busy with the number of entrants," Mundy said. "And there are plenty of forms to colophon, including forms of compensation - there is the risk of injury, as for all sports.

Captain's Corner: Service your dive gear while cold keeps you out of the water

What to do in this meteorological conditions: The past few months of cold fronts have made it hard for fishermen and some to safely get offshore. Use the downtime to get your dive gear serviced. Many dip shops aren't busy this time of year, and annual repairs and rebuilds can be completed and returned to you in temporary order. Also, this time of year many shops offer repair discounts. Call around and see if you can keep a few dollars.
Winterize y our gear: If you are waiting for warmer water to jump again, prepare your gear for hibernation. Take the batteries out of your underwater torches and cameras. Keeping them in fain electronics can cause severe damage to the contacts if the batteries gap acid. O-rings that stay compressed when the device is closed will last longer if you take them out of the entity and store them uncompressed inside the device. Fold the O-rings into a representation 8 for storage. To delay degradation of spear bands, take them off the gun and store them in a sealed malleable bag in your refrigerator.
